Day 1 – Arrival and Booking into a Hotel in Bentota
You will arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport today in accordance with your four nights and five days of travel arrangements. You will be welcomed at the airport by a representative of THE SRI LANKA TOURS, and you will then board a car to go to your accommodation in Bentota.
Day 2 – Sightseeing Bentota
On day two, you may tour the lovely town of Bentota. The greatest place to cycle is near the enormous rice fields and the ancient Hindu temple known as the “Katukoliha temple.” You will pass through the turquoise Dedduwa Lake and the magnificent paintings painted on the walls of the Mullegoda Temple while journeying. Unquestionably, it is among the top things to do in Bentota. You may also visit Bentota Beach, which offers a multitude of tranquil and beautiful beaches. One of them, Bentota Beach, welcomes visitors with swaying coconut trees and lovely surroundings. It is without a doubt the best location for nature enthusiasts to engage in leisurely water activities like:
- Water Skiing: Learn to water ski in Bentota and enjoy the feeling of the wind in your hair and the water beneath your feet. The ideal location for risk-free sea skiing excursions is this beach. Due to the lack of big boulders and the difficult terrain, the stunning water expanses become an addiction for adrenaline addicts. If you appreciate water sports, this is the ideal chance to show off your abilities in a laid-back and safe environment. If this is your first trip, don’t worry; the support staff will instruct and oversee the guests to provide an enjoyable and safe experience.

- Windsurfing: If you want to windsurf on pristine water, Bentota is the place to go. You can’t windsurf just anywhere. It has the optimum climate throughout the entire year. Visitors can either bring their own equipment or rent it. Travelers interested in learning about or trying windsurfing may do so with the help of Bentota’s instruction and private sessions.
More water activities are available for your enjoyment. Then, we’ll travel to the Galle Coast to see the renowned Galle Fort. The Portuguese built it in 1588, and the Dutch renovated it starting in 1649. It still retains a stunning appearance despite being more than 432 years old, and it is currently considered an important architectural landmark. Our next tour will take place at the Turtle Hatchery Farm in Galle, which aims to increase the baby turtles’ robustness. A tour of the building will be provided by a guide who will greet you at the main entrance. In the evening, you may enjoy a boat trip on the picturesque Madu River near Balapitiya town. Numerous islands are created by the nearby stream, and a stunning wetland is also produced by the area’s biological system. You will be taken to the hotel because it is the end of the day.
Day 3 – Traveling Back to Colombo
On day three, we will be traveling to Colombo. We will leave after lunch and book you into the hotel in Colombo.
Day 4 – Sightseeing Colombo
On the fourth day, you’ll go on a Colombo city tour. We will first visit Gangaramaya Temple after breakfast. The Gangaramaya Temple, one of Colombo’s most important temples, mixes traditional and contemporary design features. It is located on Beira Lake and was completed in the late 19th century. The Beira Lake is situated in the heart of Colombo, Sri Lanka. It used to encompass a little more than 1.65 km² (0.64 sq mi) of land, but due to various circumstances, it has subsequently shrunk to just 0.65 km² (0.25 sq mi) now. The lake served multiple functions during the Portuguese, Dutch, and English colonial periods and continues to go by its Portuguese name. It is connected to a variety of complex canals, which facilitate moving products easily around the city and suburbs.
After that, we’ll head for the Galle Face. Galle Face is a 500 m (1,600 ft) long urban park in the center of Colombo that covers 5 hectares (12 acres). Although the original Galle Face Green was larger than what is currently visible, Governor Sir Henry George Ward designed the promenade in 1859. The Independence Memorial Hall, also known as the Independence Commemoration Hall, is a national monument in Sri Lanka built to commemorate the day on February 4, 1948, when a Ceylonese-elected legislature reclaimed full control of the nation. It is located in Colombo’s Cinnamon Gardens near Independence Square, also referred to as Torrington Square. The Independence Memorial Museum is also housed there.
The Old Colombo Dutch Hospital, commonly referred to as The Dutch Hospital, was constructed during the Dutch colonial era and is considered the oldest structure in the Colombo Fort district. It is now a historical building used as a shopping and dining destination. You can get some food and buy souvenirs here. Afterward, we will head back to the hotel.
Day 5 – Departure
