Within these seven days, you and your partner will visit the central and south-western parts of Sri Lanka. You both can also participate in elephant and turtle watching, religious site visits, tea garden activities, and boat riding within this tour.

Day - 01

When you arrive in Sri Lanka, our tour guide at the airport will greet you. Then begins your 7 days Sri Lanka honeymoon itinerary. We will journey on the first day to Kandy, where you will be taken to your hotel. On the way to Kandy, we will visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

Here you can see Sri Lanka’s most protected wildlife treasure, the Sri Lankan elephant. We will only be visiting the orphanage on day one, as you will be tired from your flight. After visiting the orphanage, you will be driven straight to the hotel.

**Transport Time from Airport to Kandy:

Day - 02

On day two, you will get the chance to see the magnificent Kandy city; we will be visiting many places around Kandy. After your breakfast, our vehicle will pick you up from your hotel. The locations we will be visiting are the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), which is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Sri Lanka. It is also a world heritage site. Then the next location is Kandy Lake, where you can have a relaxing walk around the lake. Afterward, you will travel to the Bahirawakanda Temple, which is also a tourist attraction located on the Bahirawakanda hill, famous for its gigantic Buddha statue. Afterward, we will be going to the Kandy viewpoint which grants a panoramic view of Kandy city.

The next location is the local market, where you can buy various things, from fruits to souvenirs. Later, we will be at the National Gems and Gemmological Museum, which is an educational destination where you can learn about the gems in Sri Lanka. The next destination is the tea factory, where you can learn about the tea-making process. Afterward, we will be heading to the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens. It is a paradise of plants, from flowers to palm trees. Then we will be heading to the Kandy Cultural Dance Show, which is a stunning performance of a combination of Sri Lankan dance styles on one stage. The final destination is the Kandy shopping complex. It would take the whole day to cover all the locations, and you would be dropped at your hotel in the evening.

Day - 03

On day three, you will be traveling to a spellbinding city in the hill country of the Central Province named Nuwara Eliya. The city of lights (Nuwara Eliya) is about 76 km from Kandy. The journey through the mountains is an amazing journey covered in mountains, waterfalls, and amazing greenery.

On the way, you can visit a few places, such as the Ramboda Falls, Sri Lanka’s 11th tallest waterfall at a height of 109m (358ft). Then we will be visiting Damro Labookellie Tea Centre and Tea Garden, which is the oldest tea center in Sri Lanka. You can have a free factory tour and a tea tasting. Then you will be driven straight to Nuwara Eliya to your overnight hotel.

**Travel Time from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya:

Day - 04

On the 4th day of your 7-day Sri Lanka Honeymoon Itinerary, you will get a tour around the fascinating Nuwara Eliya town; we will visit many famous locations, like Gregory Lake, where you can have a peaceful picnic and a pony ride. Then we will be visiting the Nuwara Eliya post office. This is one of the oldest post offices in Sri Lanka with a unique structure.

Afterward, we head to the Hakgala botanical garden, the second-largest botanical garden in Sri Lanka. The garden consists of many sections, such as the rock garden, water garden, fern garden, Japanese garden, and seed room. The final destination is the Seetha Amman temple, which has black soil surrounding the temple. It is said that Lord Hanuman has burnt this area. These places are filled with interesting stories and have panoramic sites. After visiting these locations, you will be driven back to the hotel.

Day - 05

On day five, you will be voyaging to Bentota Beach Hotel. We are scheduled to visit a few places such as St. Clair’s falls, which is called the Little Niagara of Sri Lanka, and Devon Falls, which is named after a pioneer English coffee planter called Devon, who used to own a plantation near Devon. If you like, you can go water rafting in Kithulgala. This journey is also very elegant, as we will be traveling from the hills of the north to the south. The end of this journey will be at the Bentota beach hotel for your overnight stay.

**Travel Time from Nuwara Eliya to Bentota:

Day - 06

On day six, we will be taking you to Galle and back. You will be beginning the day with a boat ride on the beautiful Madu River in the town of Balapitiya. The river flows through the terrain, creating a large number of islands; also, a beautiful wetland is created by the ecosystem. Then we will be traveling to Galle to the See Turtle Hatchery Farm in Galle, which is dedicated to increasing the survival of baby turtles. From the entrance onward, a guide will give you a tour of the complex.

Afterward, we will be site-seeing through Galle town, and visiting the famous Galle Fort located on the bay of Galle. The Portuguese built it in 1588, and today it is a historical, archaeological, and architectural heritage monument. Finally, we will head back to the Bentota hotel for your dinner and night.

Day - 07
